FreeStyle Libre System: HOW DOES THE SENSOR WORK?

 The sensor uses a thin, flexible filament inserted just under the skin to measure glucose levels every minute from the interstitial fluid. The handheld reader or smartphone is used to scan the sensor with a painless one-second scan and replaces conventional blood glucose meters.
